Supervising 101 - The Basics focuses on the unique challenges managers and supervisors are faced with every day. Participants will learn about practical resources, tools and methods which can be used by individuals moving from a staff member to supervisor role in the near future, or those who have recently moved into a supervisory role.

Please register for ONE Supervising 101 - The Basics session.  We offer this session on various dates to accomodate everyone's schedule.

Target Audience: Supervisors and/or people managers who want to learn the basics when it comes to developing strategies to better their knowledge of handling supervisory issues that challenge them most.

 

By the end of this workshop, you will understand:

  • Know the difference between Leading + Managing.
  • Understand conflict and your management style to address it.
  • Realize the “why” behind difficult conversations.
  • Equip yourself to navigate a difficult conversation.
  • Develop your own commitment as a new Supervisor.
