Teaching with Generative AI: Responding with Effective Instructional Design Online
The use of artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude to produce written work poses many questions in higher education related to academic integrity and the authenticity of work produced by our students. This workshop empowers faculty with a hands-on demonstration of popular AI tools, opportunities to explore it within your own subject matter, strategies and approaches for responding to it in your classroom, and considerations on leveraging the tools and their potential benefits.
