Creating and Managing Assignments in Canvas: A Practical Guide

This workshop focuses on building assignments in Canvas and how to customize the settings to meet your grading approach. It is intended to help faculty effectively assess/track student learning. Participants will learn about assignment groups and how they are used for weighted grading, how to collect and share scores and feedback with students using the Speedgrader, and how to use the assignment settings to ensure your assignment's objectives and expectations are met.
