Connecting Learning to Careers: A Faculty Networking Open House

Connecting Learning to Careers: A Faculty Networking Open House

Please join full-time and part-time Montclair faculty for an informal networking open house focused on integrating experiential learning and career readiness into your courses.

This gathering offers a welcoming space to connect with colleagues across disciplines, learn about available supports, and explore practical ways to help students translate classroom learning into real-world skills.

Faculty will learn how a career services professional can partner with them to:

  • Integrate skills-based competencies into course outcomes
  • Co-design project-based and experiential assignments
  • Identify external partners to support in-class projects and presentations

The goal of this networking open house is to foster community among faculty engaged in this work and to ensure participants leave with clear, actionable next steps for continued collaboration.  Faculty will also learn about additional opportunities to get involved.

Whether you are just beginning to explore experiential learning or already implementing it in your teaching, this session is an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and move the work forward together.

Light refreshments will be provided.
