Integrating Social Justice and Equity in Teaching: A SEEDS Workshop

What does it mean to meaningfully integrate Social Justice and Equity into our teaching and course design? Join colleagues for an in-person workshop on Thursday, March 19, 2:00–4:30 PM in Cole 141, facilitated by Jessica C. Murphy, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Success, and Academic Innovation, and John Yi, Director of Teaching and Learning, Center for Teaching and Academic Innovation (CTAI).

Participants will co-construct a shared definition, scope, and guiding principles for Social Justice and Equity within the SEEDS curriculum and across the undergraduate experience. The session will explore both content and pedagogical approaches, with attention to what we hope all students will understand and carry forward from these courses.

Your perspective is essential to building a coherent curriculum and meaningful assessment framework. We hope you will join us in this important conversation.

Light refreshments will be served.
