Finding Harmony: A Wellness Conversation on Balancing Work, Life, and Self
Join us for an engaging in-person RealTalk @ Montclair experience centered on discovering greater harmony between our personal and professional lives. Through an authentic panel discussion and interactive workshop activities, participants will explore practical strategies for supporting their overall well-being while navigating the demands of work, relationships, health, and everyday life.
Grounded in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Eight Dimensions of Wellness, this session will encourage reflection, connection, and meaningful conversation around the many factors that contribute to a healthy and fulfilling life. Attendees will hear personal insights from panelists across the university community and leave with actionable ideas to support their own wellness journey.
Whether you are looking to recharge, reflect, or reconnect with what matters most, this RealTalk session offers a welcoming space for honest conversation and community-building.
Participant Learning Outcomes
After attending RealTalk @ Montclair: Finding Harmony, participants will:
- Reflect on how wellness impacts both their personal and professional lives.
- Identify areas in their daily routines that may be contributing to stress or imbalance.
- Learn practical ways to create healthier habits, boundaries, and routines.
- Explore the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and how they connect to overall well-being.
- Hear real experiences and perspectives from colleagues across the university community.
