Annual Summer Institute 2022 (Online) - June 8th & 9th Online

The 2022 Summer Institute for Teaching and Learning is co-hosted by Instructional Technology and Design Services (ITDS) and the Office for Faculty Advancement (OFA).  This virtual faculty development event will kick off with opening remarks by Junius J. Gonzales, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs followed by keynote speaker Dr. Claire Howell Major, a Professor of Higher Education and Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies at the University of Alabama. 

Each day will include a variety of presentations and workshops to inspire, support and engage you.

Day 1 - Wednesday, June 8th, 8:30am-3:00pm will include sessions focused on active learning, teaching pandemic-affected students, technology discovery sessions and more;
Day 2 - Thursday, June 9th, 8:30am-3:30pm will include sessions focused on course design, online programs, teaching math, technology discovery sessions and supporting students.
